A diamond , set in a tropical paradise, Ethos @ Alsawha is a must. Think exceptional food, beverages, service, and surrounds, where relaxation dining is needed for all ages. Whether for lunch, a special occasion, or a yummy dessert and coffee, Ethos is perfect. We enjoyed our second visit in four weeks and again, the food and service from 'Izzy', was absolutely first class. Loved everything about the location. Google maps directs you to the exit...turn into Rifle Range Road, and the entrance is there... with a palm tree lined driveway to plenty of parking. Unisex toilets, which were very clean. Staff are great!. Congratulations

Went with my family on a Friday night to ethos and wasn't sure what to expect. It was half empty all night but I have no idea why - it was amazing!!! We went for the harvest menu (a banquet style) and couldn't have been happier with the quality, variety and size of the courses. Plus the service and even the music was fantastic. Couldn't fault the entire experience and we will be back!!

It is not often that I am left with a smile after a meal but on this occasion I had a smile from ear to ear. A big thanks to the lovely staff, and talented chefs … the chicken and tempura mushrooms were the best I have ever had … the gardens are an incredible place to get lost in … thank you so much for a well-rounded experience

Our evening at Ethos was nothing short of magical — a true celebration of food, craft, and connection. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere wrapped us in warmth: serene estate surrounds, a beautifully decorated dining space, and a friendly team that works like clockwork. As first time diners here, we were excited to learn about the Harvest Menu option - being the chefs' surprise selection of dishes. The experience felt like a guided culinary journey through nature’s pantry. Every course was thoughtful, surprising, and brimming with flavour. The chefs didn’t just prepare dishes — they told stories on the plate, weaving seasonal produce and estate-grown ingredients into edible works of art. Each bite revealed layers of creativity, from delicate textures to bold, unexpected pairings. Highlights of the night included the attentive yet unpretentious service, the sense of intimacy at the table, and of course, the way each dish inspired conversation, curiosity, and joy. It wasn’t just dinner — it was an experience that fed both body and soul. Ethos is more than a restaurant — it’s a destination, a memory, and a reminder of how powerful food can be when created with heart. We left with a deeper appreciation not only for food, but for the artistry of those who dedicate themselves to it. We will be back, without question.

We were lucky enough to be Alsahwa Estate's first wedding since they took over the venue. Had a great experience with the events co-ordonator Stephanie. She was so organised, always quick responses, no question was silly and she always answered everything thoroughly. She made the whole process smooth and easy. Had a lovely menu tasting before our day and was lucky enough to meet their incredible chef Sophie. Staff were incredible on the day, especially Nikki who kept it all running smoothly. Food was fantastic, everything came together exactly as we pictured. Very positive feedback from our guests about the food and venue. Had some incredible photo opportunities as well. Thank you so much again for making our day so special! Definitely recommend!!

My friends and I were eager to try the new farm to table restaurant and we loved it. Food was fresh, delicious and presented beautifully. The grounds are lovely and an experience in itself to walk around and enjoy the views. The only feedback would be that it took a while for the food to come out, but luckily it was delicious Looking forward to coming back and trying more of the menu!

Alsahwa is relatively new to the Sunshine Coast/Hinterland, however the exceptional Head Chef and many of the team are not. I'll begin by saying, hinterland drives are enjoyable and do present some surprises on the coast...and Alsahwa is worth the drive...you will not be disappointed. The waiter team were exception and very attentive and 'smiling' (don't underestimate the impact on you experience of a team that genuinely enjoy the place they work and the job they do) from the moment we arrived. The outlook is unexpected..and very calming...this is a place to spend time catching up with friends for a long unrushed lunch. The A-La-Carte menu was far too good for us first-up and we decided on the Table Banquet. This decision leaves the meal choices to the chef and provides an opportunity to 'sample' what is available. I'm unsure if the photo's we'll share will truely give reviewers enough, however, let me say, there was not one meal that was not exceptionally presented. The tastes, the food, very very good. This is a 'complements to the Chef and her team' restaurant without doubt. My 4 Stars with regard to atmosphere is only directed to acoustics. We had a full house, and I love that, I like the chatter, but realise, it may not be your 'first date' choice' in winter. This is a Restaurant and a destination. Enjoy the drive. enjoy the food on offer. Enjoy those who are serving you. It's worth drive.

We visited for dinner on day 3 after opening. We enjoyed the shared tasting plates. Every dish was full of flavour. We especially loved the Oysters. They were the best we've ever had. The Sushimi with mushroom and mascaponi whip was a delight. Well done!
